Really good food, like grandma made. Large portions, moderately priced, prepared fresh. A definite must visit.
Once we got our food it was good. Prices were not too bad. Unfortunately we picked the wrong night for our first time there. There was a private party going on in the back room. Our order went in first but there were two huge trays served to the back room before we got our dinner. While we waited we were entertained by the waitress for the back room. Every time she came out she was complaining about not having any help. The main dining area had pretty much cleared out but all the tables sat there full of dirty dishes. Customers came in and left because there was no clean place to sit.
Our waitress was Jesse and she was fantastic, very helpful in assisting us in choosing from the menu. Our food was amazing, and our experience was very pleasant.
A very homey, welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was helpful, offering suggestions and choices. We ordered the special which was a brisket sandwich with two kind of cheese on a pretzel bun and a side of sweet potatoes fries...fabulous! And generous portions! Couldn't leave without a piece of warm blueberry pie - made with locally picked wild berries - delicious!
Really solid breakfast food. Have a pretty full menu as well and the handful of times we have gotten their dinner it has been enjoyable.
FANTASTIC Food and Great Service! I would highly recommend this location for anyone who is looking for a good meal, and a nice comfortable environment.
This was our first visit and we WILL be back. Forgot to mention, their bread is homemade and is to die for!
